With Guests in Mind

The Barn at Road Runner Crossing (RRX Barn) is available to guests at any of our vacation homes, people traveling with horses, or through a facilities agreement for clinics and events held at our covered arena.

 

Our vacation homes book up very quickly!! If you plan to stay at one of our vacation homes, use the HERE> link on the Vacation Homes page to check availability for a specific property and next go to the Horsepitality Booking page and check availability for at the Barn at Road Runner Crossing. If all looks good first book your accomodations directly with Airbnb (if it doesn't work out just cancel same day). Then call or text Jane at 928-889-1040 to review your stabling needs. I will put a hold on your dates for 24 hours so the stables don't get booked while you sort everything out.

The Barn is within eye-shot of the Log Cabin at Road Runner Crossing, and a short walk to the Mountain View Guest House or the Mountain View Guest Studio at Oak Meadows Ranch. The stables have two roomy 13.5' x 13.5' stalls with in-and-out corrals  approx. 20' x 60' each. One corral has a large shade juniper. You can rent just the stall or the stall and corral. The barn is set up with stall doors on opposite sides, a divider gate between the stalls, and a large gate between the corrals, so it may be used like  a run-in. The is a 6' aisleway and a large storage room for tack and feed etc. There are interior lights, exterior lights for the corrals, frost-free water hydrants and a wash rack. We have a 80' x 120' covered arena available for your use, as well as more than 3/4 mile of riding/driving track around the 13 acre property. There is direct access to State Trust Land, and a meandering trail leading to the wide open space of Deep Well Ranch. Better and more clearly marked trails are a mile away at the Williamson Valley Trailhead with plenty of trailer parking.
