With Guests in Mind

The arena is available for exclusive use arrangements under a Facilities Use agreement. This exclusive full-day use is normally from 7am until 5pm daily. If evening hours are requested, the starting time is adjusted by the same number of hours to allow owners/guests arena time.

 

Base rates for use of the arena

• Half-Day Use: $150 (5 hours)

• One Day Use: $300 for first day

• Multi-Day Use: $200 for second day and thereafter

• Multiple Event Use: Ask about our discounted rates

Add-on prices for horse use (per event, not per day)

• 1 to 6 Riding/Driving/Horse Handling Participants: $5 each

• 7 to 14 Riding/Driving/Horse Handling Participants: $7 each

• 15 to 25 Riding/Driving/Horse Handling Participants: $10 each

• Auditors/Non-horse handling people: $0 No additional charge

Other services

• Mid day light harrowing: $15

• Mid day machine arena grooming: $25

• Manure/arena debris pick-up (daily): $15 - or $0 if your group cleans up

• Aisle-way clean-up/trash (daily): $15 - or $0 if your group cleans up

The arena is a shared space that others may be using with you. It can be used for riding, long lining, lunging and driving. We keep several sizes of mounting blocks in the arena. We have cones and cavelletti, but please put them away after you've finished. Also there is no jumping above the height of the cavelletti. We don't allow barrels or cattle/goats/other livestock in the arena. If you want to work your horse at liberty, use the arena for turnout, or drive your horse, wait until others are finished, and limit your time to 30 minutes. Do not leave your horse unattended at any time. Please use the outside gate to enter/exit, and keep all of the gates closed while using the arena. We kindly ask you to pick up manure after your use.

 

Generally, the arena is available between the hours of 7am and 9pm. There are arena and aisle lights located in the ready-area adjacent to the fly spray system. On occasion, the arena may be rented out during the daytime by groups/events. This exclusive use is generally from 7am until 5pm daily, or it may be an evening event. Either way there will be time open for all guests to share the arena. We will inform you of these events and the schedule.

We offer day stalls primarily to groups/clinics with a Facilities Use Agreement. All rates are to be pre-paid prior to your event. If you need stall cleaning, please make these arrangements with your group in advance. If you don't arrange for cleaning and end up not cleaning your stall, your group will be charged double for your stay. Day use stalls must be cleaned and vacated no later than 6pm, or vacated by 5pm if we are cleaning. Prices subject to change.

 

Day Use Stall rates at Oak Meadows Ranch (main barn)

• Outdoor pens (you clean) : $15

• Interior Stalls with Mats (you clean) : $20

• End of Day Stall cleaning (we clean): $10 per horse

Day Use Stall rates at Road Runner Crossing (guest barn)

• Outdoor pen one horse (you clean): $15

• Outdoor pen shared by 2 horses (you clean): $25

• Stall with sand bedding (you clean): $20

• Stall plus Corral for one horse (you clean): $35

• Stall plus Corral shared by 2 horses (you clean): $35

• End of Day Stall cleaning (we clean): $10 per horse

If you are traveling with your horses, and not with a Facilities Use group, boarding/cleaning costs are to be pre-paid prior to your arrival. We will hold a credit card for payment of any additional costs you incur. Stalls must be cleaned and vacated no later than 10am (to match our check-out time at the log cabin). Check-in time for stalls is 1pm or later. Horse-trailer parking is complimentary. Prices subject to change.

 

Overnight Stall rates at Oak Meadows Ranch (Facilities Agreements Only)

• Interior Stalls with mats & 1 bag shavings (you clean): $35

• Daily stall cleaning (we clean): additional $25 per horse

• Supply your own shavings or Purchase our shavings $15/bag

• Last day removal/clean-up (we clean-out last day): $35 per horse (for 3+ overnights)

Overnight Stall rates at Road Runner Crossing Barn

• Interior Stall with sand bedding - no paddock  (you clean): $20

• Interior Stall & Paddock with sand bedding (you clean): $25

• Stall plus Paddock shared by 2 horses (you clean): $40

• Run-in: 3 horses $65, 4 horses $80, 5 horses $95

• Daily stall/corral cleaning (we clean): additional $15 per horse

Here are some extra services available with advance notice & availability of staff

• Feeding coverage:

  • Feed your hay $5 per horse

  • Feed your premeasured/bagged grain/pellets/supplements: $3 per horse

  • Add/check waters $5 per bucket

• Bermuda hay

  • Purchase full bale at $35

  • Purchase by the flake $2

• Overnight event/group parking of unoccupied horse trailer/vehicles: $5

• Overnight RV, Living Quarters, or other inhabited vehicles: $25 (no hookups)

• Your temporary stalls/pens (you clean): $15 per horse - (plus $10 we clean)

• Trailer Tie/High Tie: no charge, but you must clean - ($10 we clean)
